This quote from New Moon made me laugh. I haven't finished the book, but I think it will be my favorite line forever.
I AM NOT EXCEPTING FLAMES FOR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
The truth is, I don't care for the Twilight series. Stephenie Meyer's writing style is amateurish considering her popularity, the characters and books in general are cliche, and the romance is so fake and gushy I find myself rolling my eyes. I could keep going, but what makes me angry is the fact that so many girls are crazy about it. Alright, teen girls love romance, but the sort of relationships going on in Twilight lack any sign of actual chemistry, are based on physical appearances, and get downright creepy. How can you mistake Bella and Edward's relationship for true love? Regardless, I just hope that you ladies see a problem when a girl gives up on everything else in life for her boyfriend and lets her boyfriend be controlling and stalkerish. If you can't, I honestly weep for what has happened to the female gender.

What about the other characters in the series? Why does no one ever mention them? Really. Thanx for reading it though, really. Yes, Creepward and BellaBot suck, still. It has some appeal past faulty main characters.
